Fall Premieres Generate Buzz

NBC’s highly anticipated “The Event” premiered strongly with 11.2 million viewers. “Dancing with the Stars” walked away with the number 1 spot for the night with an impressive 21 million viewers, up 20% from last year. “The Event” creator/co-executive producer Nick Wauters is a Barbara Rubin client; “DWTS” producer BBC Worldwide is represented by Jody Simon.

“Death Valley,” a horror comedy produced by Liquid Theory, has received a series order from MTV. Liquid Theory is a client of Jody Simon.
